This artwork by Keith Vaughan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2004. In the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH & IRISH ART auction, the work Copse By Mortimers II sold for GBP 15,535.00 (€ 22,347.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Vaughan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sixth Assembly of Figures in May last year with an auction result of GBP 705,600.00 (€ 830,071.23).

In der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH & IRISH ART wurde die Arbeit Copse By Mortimers II für GBP 15.535,00 (€ 22.347,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Vaughan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sixth Assembly of Figures im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 705.600,00 (€ 830.071,23).
