Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2000 Christies in London held the auction WILDLIFE ART, which included the work On the Lookout - Black Maned Lion and Lioness by Kim Brooks. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,886.88). Other works by Kim Brooks have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 50,301.95) in February this year for the work Dawn Patrol.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion WILDLIFE ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the Lookout - Black Maned Lion and Lioness von Kim Brooks zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.450,00 (€ 26.886,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Kim Brooks haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 50.301,95) im Februar diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Dawn Patrol beobachtet.
