Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vigilance by Kim Brooks was sold in the WILDLIFE ART auction at Christies in London in November 2000. The price achieved of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,688.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Brooks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dawn Patrol in February this year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 50,301.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vigilance von Kim Brooks wurde im November 2000 in der Auktion WILDLIFE ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.645,00 (€ 2.688,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kim Brooks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dawn Patrol im Februar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 50.301,95).
