In October 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art: "Cutting Edge 1", which included the work Morning On A Construction Site, 1998 by Kim-Hong Il. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.983,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
