Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction JapaneseArt and Design Including Netsuke from the Estate of His Royal Highness The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, KG.,KT.,KP, which included the work Unknown by Kobayashi Kiyochika. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,405.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kobayashi Kiyochika achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fudo Myoo in September 2004 with an auction result of USD 28,680.00 (€ 23,097.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion JapaneseArt and Design Including Netsuke from the Estate of His Royal Highness The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, KG.,KT.,KP durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Kobayashi Kiyochika zur Versteigerung kam.
