Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chimären II by Kurt Weinhold was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in New York in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,202.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kurt Weinhold achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mann mit Radio (Homo Sapiens) in February 2009 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 136,705.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chimären II von Kurt Weinhold wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.202,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kurt Weinhold erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mann mit Radio (Homo Sapiens) im Februar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 136.705,50).
