Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Le Quoc Loc was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 41,376.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 450,000.00. Admittedly, works by Le Quoc Loc have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkin Landscape) in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,394,000.00 (€ 286,947.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Le Quoc Loc kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 41.376,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 450.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Le Quoc Loc auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkin Landscape) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.394.000,00 (€ 286.947,44).
