Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Images From '15 Photographs By Lee Friedlander' by Lee Friedlander was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2007. The price achieved of USD 48,000.00 (€ 35,139.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Friedlander achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Little Screens in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 850,000.00 (€ 761,512.27).
