Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lee Krasner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2021. In the Women in art auction, the work Untitled (Still life) sold for EUR 162,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Krasner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Eye Is The First Circle in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 11,654,000.00 (€ 10,452,955.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lee Krasner erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Women in art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Still life) für EUR 162.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Krasner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Eye Is The First Circle im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.654.000,00 (€ 10.452.955,42).
