Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Dialogue by Lee Ufan. The price achieved of EUR 597,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lee Ufan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work From Line, No. 760219, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 2,165,000.00 (€ 1,740,633.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dialogue von Lee Ufan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 597.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lee Ufan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit From Line, No. 760219 beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 2.165.000,00 (€ 1.740.633,54) versteigert wurde.
