It changed hands for a price of HKD 2,300,000.00 (€ 225,144.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 2,000,000.00 – 2,400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leng Mei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Young Hercules in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 16,900,000.00 (€ 1,755,719.95).

Die Arbeit Character Up And Down Album von Leng Mei wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 2.300.000,00 (€ 225.144,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 2.000.000,00 – 2.400.000,00.
