Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale, which included the work Woman in city by Leslie Hurry. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,534.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leslie Hurry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dead Of Night, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,009.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman in city von Leslie Hurry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.534,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leslie Hurry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dead Of Night beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.009,18) versteigert wurde.
