A top price for Li Dafang - as previously expected
In April 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Zha Xi by Li Dafang. The auction ended at the price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,974.98), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 320,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Zha Xi is the most expensive artwork by Li Dafang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zha Xi von Li Dafang zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.974,98) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 320.000,00 – 400.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Zha Xi das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Dafang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
