The work Goats by Li Fuyuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250 (€ 8,365), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Fuyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 225,000 (€ 19,553).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63% übertroffen
Die Arbeit Goats von Li Fuyuan kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250 (€ 8.365) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Fuyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 225.000 (€ 19.553) versteigert wurde.
