Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Five Goats by Li Fuyuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The auction ended at the price of HKD 20,000 (€ 2,286), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 10,000 - 20,000. Admittedly, works by Li Fuyuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 225,000 (€ 19,553).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Five Goats von Li Fuyuan kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 20.000 (€ 2.286) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000 – 20.000. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Fuyuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000 (€ 19.553).
