Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Facing The Reflection Series - Train Of Thoughts by Liang Weizhou was sold in the SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch) auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,788.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liang Weizhou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Facing The Reflection Series- Undressing Man, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Facing The Reflection Series - Train Of Thoughts von Liang Weizhou wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch) bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.788,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Liang Weizhou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Facing The Reflection Series- Undressing Man beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.024,98) versteigert wurde.
