Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chinese She And Mondrian by Liu Ye was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,650.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Ye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Smoke in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 52,182,000.00 (€ 5,964,325.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chinese She And Mondrian von Liu Ye wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.650,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Ye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Smoke im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.182.000,00 (€ 5.964.325,41).
