Auction result well in line with expectations

In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Moments of Flash, which included the work A Nude Sketch by Long Chin-San. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,852.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Long Chin-San achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Huang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Moments of Flash durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Nude Sketch von Long Chin-San zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.852,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Long Chin-San erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
