Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Alone In The Misty River by Long Chin-San was sold in the Moments of Flash auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,558.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Long Chin-San - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Huang, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).

Die Arbeit Alone In The Misty River von Long Chin-San wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Moments of Flash bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.558,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Long Chin-San mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Huang beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08) versteigert wurde.
