This artwork by Long Chin-San achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Moments of Flash auction, the work Majestic Solitude sold for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 41,312.53) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Long Chin-San - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Huang, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Long Chin-San erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moments of Flash wurde die Arbeit Majestic Solitude für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 41.312,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Long Chin-San mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Huang beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08) versteigert wurde.
