Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French la Place Du Louvre by Louis Béroud. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,823.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Béroud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frenchles Joies De L'Inondation (Dans La Galerie Médicis) in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 350,500.00 (€ 260,536.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French la Place Du Louvre von Louis Béroud zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.823,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Béroud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frenchles Joies De L'Inondation (Dans La Galerie Médicis) im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.500,00 (€ 260.536,68).
