A top price for Louis Khela Maqhubela - as previously expected
In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including The Olga Davenport Collection, which included the work Abstracted symbols by Louis Khela Maqhubela. The price achieved of GBP 375.00 (€ 404.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Abstracted symbols is the most expensive artwork by Louis Khela Maqhubela that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Olga Davenport Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstracted symbols von Louis Khela Maqhubela zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 404,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Abstracted symbols das teuerste Kunstwerk von Louis Khela Maqhubela, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
