Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre, Hommage à Picasso by Louise Nevelson was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 768.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Nevelson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dawn's Landscape XLIII in November last year with an auction result of USD 1,159,200.00 (€ 1,122,929.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre, Hommage à Picasso von Louise Nevelson kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 768,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louise Nevelson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dawn's Landscape XLIII im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.159.200,00 (€ 1.122.929,38).
