This artwork by Lu Zhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscapes sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,492.34) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Zhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The South Marsh in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,625,000.00 (€ 625,442.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Zhi erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.492,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Zhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The South Marsh im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.625.000,00 (€ 625.442,99).
