Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lu Zhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Narcissus sold for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 105,563.89) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Zhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The South Marsh in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,625,000.00 (€ 625,442.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Zhi erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Narcissus für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 105.563,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Zhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The South Marsh im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.625.000,00 (€ 625.442,99).
