Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Sale, which included the work Aerei by Luca Pignatelli. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luca Pignatelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 39,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aerei von Luca Pignatelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luca Pignatelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.900,00.
