A top price for Ludvig Karsten - as previously expected
The work I Tanker (In Thoughts) by Ludvig Karsten was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 106,844.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, I Tanker (In Thoughts) is the most expensive artwork by Ludvig Karsten that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit I Tanker (In Thoughts) von Ludvig Karsten kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 106.844,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
