Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Sale, which included the work Modena. Identikit by Luigi Ghirri. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Ghirri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atelier Morandi', 1992 in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 51,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Modena. Identikit von Luigi Ghirri zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Ghirri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atelier Morandi', 1992 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.900,00.
