A top price for Luo Qing
The work The Falling Leaf by Luo Qing was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 211,500.00 (€ 17,412.05), 41% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Falling Leaf is even the most expensive work of art by Luo Qing that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Falling Leaf von Luo Qing wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 211.500,00 (€ 17.412,05) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Falling Leaf sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Luo Qing, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
