Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Three Young Girls by Luong Xuan Nhi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 68,284.06). Admittedly, works by Luong Xuan Nhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Repos (Resting) in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 5,165,000.00 (€ 565,895.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Young Girls von Luong Xuan Nhi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 550.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 68.284,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luong Xuan Nhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Repos (Resting) im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.165.000,00 (€ 565.895,19).
