Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lynne Drexler was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 29,440.00 (€ 34,263.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lynne Drexler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Herbert's Garden in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,500,000.00 (€ 1,397,819.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lynne Drexler kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 29.440,00 (€ 34.263,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lynne Drexler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Herbert's Garden im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.500.000,00 (€ 1.397.819,40).
