Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'oiseau rouge by Marc Chagall was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2003. It achieved a price of GBP 408,450.00 (€ 586,964.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'oiseau rouge von Marc Chagall kam im Juni 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 408.450,00 (€ 586.964,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
