A top price for Marcel Bovis - as previously expected
In July 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Magnificent Nudes: Iconic Photographs from Distinguished Private Collections, which included the work Nude Solarisation , C.1935 by Marcel Bovis. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nude Solarisation , C.1935 is the most expensive artwork by Marcel Bovis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Magnificent Nudes: Iconic Photographs from Distinguished Private Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude Solarisation , C.1935 von Marcel Bovis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Nude Solarisation , C.1935 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Marcel Bovis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
