Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Tulipes by Marcel Mouly was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,813.37). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Mouly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Mandole A L'Echiquier, 1992, which sold at auction in June 2009 for EUR 22,050.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Tulipes von Marcel Mouly wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian and Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.813,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel Mouly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Mandole A L'Echiquier, 1992 beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für EUR 22.050,00 versteigert wurde.
