In May 2016 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Allure, 1999 by Mario Testino. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,000.00 (€ 32,622.36), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mario Testino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Exposed, Kate Moss, London in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 225,000.00 (€ 248,099.08).

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Allure, 1999 von Mario Testino zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 32.622,36) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Testino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Exposed, Kate Moss, London im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 225.000,00 (€ 248.099,08).
