It achieved a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,325.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Ruwedel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work works from Westward the Course of Empire, 1997-2005, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,904.91).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.325,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Mark Ruwedel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit works from Westward the Course of Empire, 1997-2005 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.904,91) versteigert wurde.
