Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work George Clooney. by Martin Schoeller for EUR 7,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie at Grisebach and was even below the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Martin Schoeller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Angelina with Blood, 2003 in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit George Clooney. von Martin Schoeller für EUR 7.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie bei Grisebach erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Schoeller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Angelina with Blood, 2003 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.849,95).
