A top price for Mary Jewels - as previously expected
The work Cornubia by Mary Jewels was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2000. The price achieved of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,681.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cornubia is the most expensive artwork by Mary Jewels that we have observed at auctions so far.
