Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Matt Greene could be acquired at Phillips in 19 - in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Heatwave: Online Auction auction, the work Ladies and Gentlemen... changed hands for GBP 762.00 (€ 762.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matt Greene achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work As Tangible as Revelrie (Reverie) in May 2009 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,388.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matt Greene konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 19 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Ladies and Gentlemen... für GBP 762,00 (€ 762,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matt Greene erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit As Tangible as Revelrie (Reverie) im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.388,50).
