This artwork by Matt Mullican achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in December 2021. In the Herbst 2021 - Sammlung Berliner Sparkasse auction, the work without title sold for EUR 35,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Matt Mullican; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in September 2005 with the realized price of USD 45,600.00 (€ 37,817.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Matt Mullican erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Herbst 2021 - Sammlung Berliner Sparkasse wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 35.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Matt Mullican; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 37.817,22).
