The work Prima che sia notte by Matteo Pugliese was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 17,840.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49 %. Admittedly, works by Matteo Pugliese have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Samurai in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 175,373.57).

Die Arbeit Prima che sia notte von Matteo Pugliese wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 17.840,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matteo Pugliese auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Samurai im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 175.373,57).
