MONTMARTRE, / toi jadis si idyllique / qu'un quidam féru d'Art en ces lieux se hasarde, / Il regrette bientôt de n'être en sa mansarde,/ Car partout des badauds vulgaires, effrontés, / Vous lancent à foison, outrages, ris outrés, / Et d'un regard moqueur, d'Ironie effroyable, / Vous laissent sur le champ, colère, sans courage!"

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art II, which included the work La Maison De Poulbot, Avenue Junot – 1928 La Maison De Poulbot, Avenue Junot - 1928 by Maurice Utrillo. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 62,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Maison De Poulbot, Avenue Junot – 1928 La Maison De Poulbot, Avenue Junot - 1928 von Maurice Utrillo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 62.400,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
