Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Maurice Utrillo could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale auction, the work Le Moulin de la Galette changed hands for EUR 63,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Maurice Utrillo konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Le Moulin de la Galette für EUR 63.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
