This artwork by Maurice Utrillo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2005. In the ART IMPRESSIONNISTE ET MODERNE auction, the work Rue de l'Abreuvoir, Montmartre sold for EUR 74,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Maurice Utrillo erzielte im Dezember 2005 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ART IMPRESSIONNISTE ET MODERNE wurde die Arbeit Rue de l'Abreuvoir, Montmartre für EUR 74.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
