Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les rochers du château de Dinan, Morgat, Novembre 1903 by Maxime Maufra was sold in the Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 27,720.00. Admittedly, works by Maxime Maufra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Vent in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 198,097.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les rochers du château de Dinan, Morgat, Novembre 1903 von Maxime Maufra wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 27.720,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maxime Maufra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Vent im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 266.500,00 (€ 198.097,08).
