Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mayuka Yamamoto achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in April last year. In the Faces Places: Online Auction auction, the work Little Sheep Boy sold for HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,874.98) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mayuka Yamamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Penguin Boy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mayuka Yamamoto erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Little Sheep Boy für HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.874,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mayuka Yamamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Penguin Boy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
