The work White Owl Boy by Mayuka Yamamoto was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Sale auction at Christies in Shanghai in September this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 630,000.00 (€ 76,011.90), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mayuka Yamamoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Penguin Boy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).

Die Arbeit White Owl Boy von Mayuka Yamamoto wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Sale bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 630.000,00 (€ 76.011,90) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mayuka Yamamoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little Penguin Boy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
