Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figuren auf einer Strasse. by Medardo Rosso was auctioned at Koller in June 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 18,000.00 – 28,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 19,200.00 (€ 14,498.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Medardo Rosso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Enfant Juif in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 341,000.00 (€ 476,973.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figuren auf einer Strasse. von Medardo Rosso kam im Juni 2010 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 18.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 19.200,00 (€ 14.498,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Medardo Rosso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Enfant Juif im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 341.000,00 (€ 476.973,83).
