Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Triple Gidget from Sculptural Forms by Michael Dweck. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 57,500.00 (€ 65,271.05), 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Dweck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sonya, Poles (Montauk), which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 168,750.00 (€ 148,914.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Triple Gidget from Sculptural Forms von Michael Dweck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 57.500,00 (€ 65.271,05) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Dweck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sonya, Poles (Montauk) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für USD 168.750,00 (€ 148.914,58) versteigert wurde.
