Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Paysage by Michel Kikoïne. The price achieved of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,309.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Kikoïne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Of Flowers in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Michel Kikoïne zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.309,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Kikoïne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.038,05).
